Queensland is a vast area, at least 25% of Australia so we will not be looking at all of it just the bits that I visited.

Atherton Tablelands

At the highest point the tablelands are 900m or 3000 ft above sea level. It is one of the richest farming lands in Queensland , peanuts, macadamia nuts, avocados, sugar cane and bananas. There is something for everyone. Lakes, waterfalls, food trail, wetlands and of course mountains to climb if that is your want.

Daintree Rainforest

The Daintree National Park covers more than 188000 acres. Cape Tribulation is very picturesque and of course the only area that has rainforest and barrier reef, two wonders in one.

Cairns area

Is a gateway to many activities,beautiful beeches, the Barrier Reef, inland rivers, getting to the Atherton Tablelands and the Daintree Rainforest is so easy from Cairns, so you could make it your base. Many attractions are just minutes away. There is also the shopping opportunities, restaurants and so so much more.
