There is a frequent bus service.

East coast buses are yellow and depart from the Sound and Light Square .
West coast buses are white and blue departing from around the corner by the market.

Taxis

Taxis are reasonably priced, though you may have to haggle if you have a long journey.

Coach Trips

You can arrange this with your hotel or tour operator, but to see where you can go see Attractions/Activities.
We used the coaches arranged by our tour operator and found them adequate.

Boats

Ferries can be caught to other Greek Islands once a week.
Excursion ferries to Symi can be caught at Rhodes and Lindo harbours.
Hydrofoil to Kos , Patmos and Symi.
